Role Overview
Whisperly AI is seeking an experienced Sales Manager in the US to drive new business growth, build customer relationships, and expand our footprint across enterprise and mid-market organizations in the US. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, understands complex technical products, and is passionate about the emerging space of AI governance.
As a Sales Manager, you will lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery to negotiation and closing, while working closely with product, marketing, compliance, and customer success teams. You will play a critical role in educating customers on AI governance challenges and showcasing how Whisperly AI solves them.
This is a high-impact role with significant ownership and upside in a rapidly growing category.
What You'll Do
- Own and manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close, for enterprise and mid-market accounts
- Develop a strong understanding of customer needs, AI governance challenges, and regulatory pressures to position Whisperly AI effectively
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through outbound outreach, partnerships, and inbound leads
- Deliver compelling product demos and presentations tailored to business, technical, legal, and compliance stakeholders
- Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging, campaigns, and lead-generation strategies
- Partner closely with Customer Success to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term customer satisfaction
- Help shape pricing strategies, deal structures, and negotiation playbooks
- Capture customer insights and competitive feedback to influence product direction
- Represent Whisperly AI at conferences, events, and industry discussions on AI governance and responsible adoption.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
4–7+ years of experience in SaaS sales, account executive roles, or business development
Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas
Experience selling to enterprise or mid-market organizations in technical or compliance-heavy environments
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to speak to both executives and technical stakeholders
Strong pipeline management skills and experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
Ability to learn complex technical concepts quickly and articulate them clearly
Self-starter mentality with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in AI, ML, cybersecurity, governance, or compliance-focused products
- Experience with early-stage startups or building sales processes and playbooks from scratch
- Established network in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, government, enterprise SaaS)
- Understanding of AI regulatory frameworks or model risk management concepts.
